Restorative Movement
This class invites nervous system healing through conscious relaxation in comfort. Restorative movement creates the circumstances for the body to drop into the rest and digest mechanism through gentle, prop-supported postures held for 5-10 minutes each. All postures are performed on the floor with props including pillows, blankets and yoga bolsters. This practice has been shown to offer numerous physical and emotional benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep quality, enhanced recovery, and overall nervous system regulation.
Yin + Sound Healing
The class comprises of Yin yoga, which is a type of yoga that focuses on stretching & relaxation through slow-paced postures & meditation. Whilst sound healing uses therapeutic instruments such as singing bowls, tingsha or ocean drum to promote deep relaxation and restore balance. Both practices have been shown to offer numerous physical & emotional benefits, including improved flexibility, reduced stress & anxiety, & enhanced overall well-being.
